Ryan Carroll serves as assistant athletic director for operations for Sam Houston State University.
His duties include facility and event management and scheduling and facility rentals. He also serves as the liaison with concessions, physical plant, recreational sports and area high schools.
Carroll was named as an assistant athletic director in June, 2013. He joined the Bearkat athletic staff in August, 2010 as the Bearkats’ facilities coordinator.
He earned his undergraduate degree in sport management from Texas A&M in 2006 and received his MBA degree from Sam Houston State in 2009.
While at Texas A&M, he served as an athletic assistant in the academics and tutored student-athletes.
As a graduate student at Sam Houston, he was as a graduate assistant to associate athletic director Greg Hinze working in game management and facilities.
