Sam Houston Athletice Site

Matthew Carson joined the Sam Houston State Athletics department in September 2012 Carson as assistant athletic director for ticket operations.

He previously worked in ticketing at the University of Wisconsin.

Carson was responsible for coordinating student ticketing for all sports and managing all season ticket renewals.

 After receiving a master's of education in sport management at Texas in 2009, he worked for the Longhorn Foundation. His duties included assisting with annual fund, premium seating, in-game hospitality management, and donor management.

 A 2007 graduate of Arkansas State University, he served as a marketing intern and was responsible for planning and implementing game promotions, marketing game operations, and soliciting group ticket sales.
