When did you start participating in Track & Field / Cross Country? I started running distance my senior year in high school.
Who has had the greatest impact on your career? Jesse Parker, without a doubt. I am still running because of him.
What's your favorite sport other than Track & Field / Cross Country? Basketball, racquetball, or football
If you could participate in a different event in Track & Field, which would it be? The hurdles, they look so graceful when they go over them.
What is the best part about being a college athlete? Traveling and being associated with the team
After meeting Coach Parker, what was your first thought? He is so laid back, I love it!
What is one thing Coach Parker always tells you? Don't think about it, just run! I can't even tell you how many times I have heard that!
What opposing schools do you most look forward to competing against? SFA, and TAMUCC
What is the highlight of your sports career? Conference my sophomore year when I got to ride in an ambulance thanks to my lack of drinking enough water
Who are your favorite sports heroes? Anyone who does a sport because they TRULY love it, not for glory, money, or status.
Do you have a nickname? What is it? Giggles, and Bridge
What are three words that describe you? Comical, random, and caring
If you had one million dollars, where would you go? Ireland and Greece
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? Not doing enough for other people who are less fortunate than me or that need help.
If you had a supernatural power, what would it be? I have always wanted to be like Alex Mack and be able to turn into a liquid and go under doors and through drains and stuff like that, when you got embarrassed or just didn't want to be somewhere.
Why did you choose to attend Sam Houston State University? My sister was here, I LOVED the campus, I wanted to run, and I love the color orange!
What is the most important thing you've learned as a SHSU Student-Athlete? To get the best rewards you have to make some sacrifices, but it is all worth it when you get to make that victory lap with the conference championship trophy!
What single thing will you most miss about SHSU when you leave? My SHSU family
What is the biggest challenge you've had to overcome? Realizing that the bare minimum will get you the bare minimum results, and taking the steps to go past that.
As a role model to young athletes, what advice can you give? If you love the sport, don't let anyone take the love of the game away from you to make you better.
Name one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you? I will tear you up on a racquetball court! Unless you are my Dad who STILL beats me EVERY time.

What is your favorite T.V. show? FRIENDS, Whose Line, One Tree Hill, and MXC
What is your biggest pet-peeve? Squirrels who sit up on the power line and tease my poor dog and people who just leave trash because they are lazy. I want to collect it all and make something out of it like, that commercial, with a note that says, “You dropped this!”
What one thing can you not go a week without? Laughing, but I don't even think I could go a whole day without that.
What is your dream job? Kindergarten teacher

What is your biggest superstition? Knocking on wood when you say something hasn't happened or won't happen.
