Cross country runs at Oklahoma State

The Sam Houston State Cross Country teams competed at the 72nd annual OSU Cowboy Jamboree on Saturday in Stillwater, Oklahoma.
The women's field was made up of over 200 runners from 26 universities. Leading the way for the women was sophomore Molly Farrell who covered the 6,000-meter course in 23-minutes 51-seconds. She was followed closely by freshmen Haleigh Pustka and Victoria Gemeny who ran 24-minutes 12-seconds and 24-minutes 39-seconds, respectively.
The men's field was made up of over 240 runners representing 25 universities. The first runner for the Bearkats was freshmen Taylor Ray who posted a time of 26-minutes 4-seconds for the 8,000-meter course. Followed closely behind him was freshman Blake Woolums who covered the 6,000-meter course in 26-minutes 13-seconds.
