Who has had the greatest impact on your athletic career? My family hands down
What's your favorite sport other than Track & Field? Football, Basketball, UFC
If you could participate in a different event in Track & Field, which would it be? 100 & 200m
What is the best part about being a college athlete? Being able to travel around the country and perform against the best of the best
After meeting Coach Self, what was your first thought? He's a great coach
What is one thing Coach Self always tells you? “I know you're hurting but it's a strength day”
What opposing schools do you most look forward to competing against? SFA, Texas, Baylor, and any other school with good hurdlers and 4x400 relay teams
What is the highlight of your athletic career? 2004 State championships & 2008 NCAA Championships
Who are your favorite sports heroes? Edwin Moses, Allen Johnson, Breshawn Jackson, & Angelo Taylor
What are three words that best describe you? Real, competitive, & funny
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? My temper
If you had a supernatural power, what would it be? The power to go back in time and see the old skool really did it.
Why did you choose to attend Sam Houston State University? Close to home and a lot of my family attended here.
What is the most important thing you've learned as a SHSU Student-Athlete? Once you know your race and rhythm in the race, you can apply it to all aspects of life.
What single thing will you most miss about SHSU when you leave? Track and the jokes and laughs that came with it.
As a role model to younger athletes, what advice can you give? Whatever you want to do in life keep God first, and execute repetitiously everyday as if it's your last. Slow down, take control, and change your attitude.
Name one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you? I don't want any kids ever, cause I don't have the patience for them; but I love my niece and nephew like they are my own.

What is your biggest pet-peeve? Quitting and sorry excuses for quitting
What is your dream job? Running track & field on the pro circuit level
What is your best non-athletic talent? Playing drums
