When did you start participating in Track & Field? My sophomore year in high school.
Who has had the greatest impact on your career? Chris Cralle, since he has been here he has pushed me to be the best I can be.
What's your favorite sport other than Track & Field? Football
If you could participate in a different event in Track & Field, which would it be? Nothing, I don't think there is a more fun event in any sport than throwing the discus.
What is the best part about being a college athlete? Proving that anyone who doesn't necessarily have athletic ability can do anything if they set their mind to it.
What opposing schools do you most look forward to competing against? The schools everyone sees on ESPN.
What is the highlight of your sports career? Being able to represent SHSU at the Midwest Regional Championship, and making the All-Region team.
Who are your favorite sports heroes? John Powell and Mac Wilkins
What are three words that describe you? Giving, kind-hearted, funny
If you had one million dollars, where would you go? I would take my family to Costa Rica
If you could change one thing about yourself, what would it be? My athletic ability
If you had a supernatural power, what would it be? Super-human strength
Why did you choose to attend Sam Houston State University? So I could pursue Track & Field
What is the most important thing you've learned as a SHSU Student-Athlete? Don't procrastinate
What single thing will you most miss about SHSU when you leave? Camaraderie in competition
As a role model to young athletes, what advice can you give? Work hard when you can and work harder when you don't want to.
Name one thing that people would be surprised to learn about you? I'm a pretty good bowler
