The Sam Houston State volleyball team got back on the winning track with a three-set road victory over Prairie View A&M Tuesday night.

The Bearkats won 25-20 25-20 25-23 to up their season record to 7-9.

Kim Black led Sam Houston with 10 kills. Carli Kolbe and Anna Ferguson, who both played only in the first two sets, added eight and five kills, respectively.

Libero Kaylee Hawkins led the team with 13 digs while Black totaled six blocks.

Sam Houston State returns to action Thursday night with another Southwestern Athletic Conference opponent as Texas Southern visits Johnson Coliseum.
