Bowling opens season on Sunday

The 2010-2011 Sam Houston State University NCAA Division I bowling team consists of seven women; three upperclassmen and four freshmen students. Hagen feels that the team is ready for this upcoming season and that there are many things working in their favor.
"We had an intrasquad exhibition a few weeks ago, and I feel that after that the girls are where they need to be," Hagen said. "Right now we just need to go out there and excel. We are in good shape and the girls' mentalities and efforts are good as well."
The match against SFA will begin at 1 p.m. and can bee seen live online by logging into www.bowl.com.
"We are hoping we can have a lot of fans come up to Arlington for this historic event," Hagen said. "But if you can't make it, hopefully you will be able to go to the website and watch it live. I really think our fans are going to like what they see."
