6th Annual Kat Softball Golf Tournament

The sixth annual Sam Houston softball golf tournament fundraiser was held at Raven's Nest Golf Course in Huntsville on Sunday March 28.
Proceeds from the tournament go to the Bearkat softball enrichment fund.
The annual tournament consists of a four-person Florida scramble. The event begins with a shot gun start at 12 noon. A meal and snack will be provided and prizes will be awarded for first through third place as well as gross score, closest to the hole and longest drive.
Plans for the 2011 event will be announced soon.
Entry fee is $400 per team or $125 per golfer.
"We rely on the members of our community, alumni, friends and family to support women's athletics," SHSU softball head coach Bob Brock said. "These young women have worked extremely hard, brought home a Southland Conference post season championship and it is reassuring to know that community, friends and family recognize and supports their efforts. We hope as many golfers as are able will join us for an afternoon of fun."
