CONWAY, AR - Federica Denti won at number one in her first singles match of the spring and teams with Giorgia Pozzan to take the number one doubles as Sam Houston State swept Central Arkansas 7-0 in a Southland Conference women's tennis dual match Saturday.

The victory upped Sam Houston's Southland record to 3-0.

Denti defeated Lisa Mainz 6-0 6-0. Pozzan won at number two singles over Petra Keilova 6-2 6-4.

Tatyana Postnikova, Sheridan Currie, Nadia Dubyanskaya and Cally Woerner all won in straight sets in the three though six singles, respectively.

Currie and Postnikova and Dudyanskaya and Woerner also teamed for doubles wins.

Sam Houston takes on Northwestern State in Natchitoches, LA Sunday at 11 a.m.
