10th annual baseball golf scramble fundraiser Oct. 8

The Sam Houston State baseball program will be host its 10th annual Golf Scramble and Fundraiser at Raven Nest Golf Club in Huntsville on Friday, October 8, 2010
The golf tournament has played an important role in helping the Bearkats play their way to Southland Conference post-season tournament championships and NCAA regional playoff berths in 2007, 2008 and 2009.
Cost of the event:
Individual Player: $125
Individual Player & Hole Sponsor: $250
Team: $500
Team & Hole Sponsor: $600
Hole Sponsor: $125
Tournament Sponsor: $1000 (includes golf for four, lunch, & hole sponsor)
The purpose of the golf tournament is to raise money for the Sam Houston State baseball program.
Schedule for the day's events is:
11:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. - Registration / driving range / lunch
1 - 1:15 p.m. - Welcome from Head Coach Mark Johnson
1:15 - 1:30 p.m. - Travel to starting holes
1:30 p.m. - Shot gun start
Following play - trophy presentation and raffle drawing
Once again, the entire baseball staff appreciates all the help and hard work that goes into this event every year and hope for just as successful event this fall.
