Bowling adds seventh member

Sam Houston State University and the Bearkat bowling program is proud to announce its final member of the 2010-2011 inaugural roster Lisa MacAllister.
MacAllister, from Kemp, is a junior college transfer from Trinity Valley Community College.
"Lisa has a very keen sense of knowledge for team sports especially through implementation of new programs and her determination and leadership skills are clearly defined," SHSU head coach Brad Hagen said. "I truly believe her experiences to date and her willingness to lead by example as well as put forth the extra effort to be successful will be a great asset to herself and the team."
At Trinity Valley C.C. MacAllister had a 3.8 GPA and was a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society. She was named as a member of the Region XIV Collegiate Academic All Conference Team. Her TVCC and her high school bowling honors include selection to the academic all star team and all city team, two-time sectional champion and a conference championships among other things.
MacAllister is the seventh and final signing for Hagen. The Bearkats will open the inaugural 2010 season on Oct. 17 against SFA at the International Training and Research Center in Arlington.
