Men's basketball seating plan revamp

First, the Johnson Coliseum floor features a new floor design.
Second, the seating plan for Bearkat men's basketball games has been revamped.
Student seating for the Bearkats' boisterous supporters now will be available on the floor in both Section D and section F, bringing increased energy to the electric atmosphere at Sam Houston home games.
Reserved Premium Center Court Seats will be available in Section E only.
Less than 20 total season ticket locations still remain so fans will want to place their orders as soon as possible online at www.gobearkats.com/tickets or with the Sam Houston athletic ticket office located in the Ron Mafrige Field House at Bowers Stadium. Ticket office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. The ticket office telephone is (936) 294-1729.
The rest of the lower bowl at Johnson Coliseum will be reserved seating, but at the same price as an upper bowl general admission ticket ($8). This will allow Sam Houston to better accommodate groups, mini-plan season tickets and special promotional offers.

Seating for home women's basketball games will remain the same as last season with all seats sold as general admission.
Season ticket prices are available in the Bearkat Champion package ($250) or the reserved package ($100) for men's basketball. Season tickets for women's basketball are $60.
The regular season schedule for both the men and women begins the weekend of Nov. 12-13.
The men open their 2011-12 schedule Saturday November 12 at 7:30 p.m. against Howard Payne. The women tip off their season Sunday November 13 at 3:30 p.m. by hosting UT-Tyler.
