Sam Houston's head men's basketball coach Jason Hooten will discuss both teams' prospects in post-season play as a special "Chalk Talk" session Monday, March 7.
The special meeting open to all Bearkat fans will be held at McKenzie's Barbeque in Huntsville, Texas, beginning at 12 noon. Admission is $10 and includes a buffet lunch.
The program precedes the annual State Farm Southland Conference basketball tournament to be held in Katy at the Merrell Center.
The Sam Houston men are the defending Southland Conference regular season and tournament men's basketball champion.
Hooten will analyze the outlook for the Bearkats at the tournament during the meeting.
