Hailey Wiginton named MVP

The senior from Friendswood is a three-time All-Southland Conference performer who is the one of the leading hitters for the Bearkat softball team.
She ranks as the program's second all-time leading hitter with a .347 career average and stands among the top five all-time in four other statistics categories.
The Most Valuable awards for 2010-11 by sport were Jenny Pence (soccer), Alyssa Dooley (women's cross country), Patrick Krol (men's cross country), Kaylee Hawkins and Carli Kolbe (volleyball), Tim Flanders (football), Morgan Davis (women's indoor track and field), Matt Johnson (men's indoor track and field), Britni Martin and Sequeena Thomas (women's basketball), Gilberto Clavell (men's basketball), Dayna Galganski (bowling), Nadia Dubyanskaya (tennis) and Hailey Wiginton (softball).
