The honor squad is selected by vote of South Central Region member sports information directors.
Andreas is one of 11 Southland Conference baseball players named to the honor squad.
A senior from Brenham who has been the Bearkats' designated hitter the past two seasons, Andreas earned first team All-Southland Conference honors this year and was a post-season all-tournament selection.
He was Sam Houston's top hitter with a .332 average and also led the squad in doubles (18), triples (2), home runs (12), RBIs (54), total bases (132), slugging (.592) and on-base percentage (.427). He is one of only two players in Sam Houston history to hit a pair of grand slam home runs in one season.
