Golf Scramble Fundraiser Oct. 16

The Sam Houston softball team holds its annual fall golf scramble fundraiser on Sunday, Oct. 16, at The Village Golf Club in Conroe.
The event will be a four-person Florida scramble with an entry fee of $400 per four-player team or $125 per golfer.
The scramble will begin at 12 noon with a meal and snak provided. There will be awards for first, second and third place gross score, closest to the pin and longest drive. The tournament is limited to the first 144 players who register.
"The Sam Houston softball program appreciates the support of our many fans and urges you to participate in the golf scramble fundraiser Oct. 16," head coach Bob Brock said. "Proceeds from the fundraiser will be used to support the softball program in a variety of ways ranging from equipment to travel expenses.
"The girls on our team have worked extremely hard and appreciate your support."
The 2011 golf scramble entry form is provided as a PDF and may be printed, filled out and returned to Bearkat Softball Box 2268 Huntsville, Texas 77341-2268.
Please make checks to: SHSU Softball Enrichment Fund. Deadline for entries is Oct. 3, 2001.
