Alumni Association buses to Reliant Stadium

The Sam Houston State University Alumni Association is sponsoring charter buses to the 86th "Battle of the Piney Woods" presented by YP.com at Reliant Stadium in Houston Saturday, October 8.
One bus already is filled and seats are open on a second bus.
Kickoff for the annual Sam Houston vs. Stephen F. Austin rivalry game is 2 p.m. The Alumni Association bus will depart the Chemistry and Forensic Science Building parking lot (corner of Sam Houston Avenue and Bowers Drive) at 9:30 a.m. and return immediately following the game.
Riders on the bus will have the opportunity to participate in all the festivities of the huge "Battle of the Piney Woods" tailgate in the Reliant Stadium parking lot plus the thrills of this year's contest between the Bearkats and the Lumberjacks.
The cost for riding on the bus is $25 per person (does not include game ticket). Reservations are requested by October 1, 2011.
A total of 24,685 fans filled the lower bowl of Reliant Stadium for last year's game. More fans are expected for this year's game. With only 26,000 tickets available in the lower bowl, act now to purchase tickets by going online at www.gobearkats.com/tickets .
