Bearkats Rank No. 9 in Both Polls

The Bearkats now have been ranked a school record 18 consecutive weeks in the national rankings.
North Dakota State is the top ranked team in both the Sports Network and NCAA Coaches' Poll. Montana State, Youngstown State and Old Dominion stand two, three and four in both rankings as well.
Two other Southland Conference teams also are ranked.
McNeese State is 18th in the Coaches' Poll and 21st in Sports Network's listings. Central Arkansas is ranked No. 20 by the coaches and No. 24 by Sports Network.
Sam Houston State takes on Stephen F. Austin Saturday at 3 p.m. in the 87th "Battle of the Piney Woods" at Reliant Stadium in Houston.
End zone tickets for $15 each and corner tickets priced at $20 apiece are available for SHSU students and fans online at www.gobearkats.com/tickets or at the SHSU Athletic Ticket Office located in the Ron Mafrige Field House at Bowers Stadium.
