The Sam Houston men's
cross country team placed seventh and the women placed eighth at the Crimson
Classic hosted by the University of Alabama.
Alyssa Dooley led the women with a seventh place finish on the 4971 M course with a time of 17:58.44.
Other Sam Houston womens' finishes included Solenn Riou 22nd 18:25.16; Ana Moreno 44th18:51.60; Nicole Aponte 54th 19:27.94; Haley West 66th 19:53.57.
The Alabama women finished first out of the 14 team field.
Palo Ponce led the
men with a 21st place finish on the 8076 M course with a time of
26:22.77.
Other Bearkat men's finishes included Zach Goodlander 39th 26:53.47;
Ryan Saam 44th 26:57.82; Patrick Pitts 59th 27:25.97;
Karl 66th Schreiber 27:24.15; Logan Terry 71st 27:38.80;
Clint Anders 73rd 27:44.42; Patrick Krol 98th 29:10.97.
The Georgia Tech men's team finished first out of the 13 field team.
