The No. 4 ranking stands as the highest position in the national polls in the three year history of the three-year old program.
Sam Houston has compiled a 46-11 dual match record during the Bearkat's fall schedule.
The Kats won tournament championships at the Tulane Invitational, the Alabama A&M tournament and the Track Kat Klash in Huntsville during the fall. Sam Houston also finished as team runner-up at the Bethune-Cookman tournament.
The SHSU bowling team compiled a 20-8 record during the fall against squads ranked in the NTCA preseason top 20.
