Kats No. 9 in NTCA Media Poll

Fairleigh Dickinson University of Teaneck, NJ, is the near unanimous choice for the top position in the new poll.
The Knights took over the No. 1 spot from Valparaiso after FDU won 22 of 25 matches since January to up its season record to 67-15.
Valparaiso (57-22) dropped to No. 2. Sacred Heart (47-14), Arkansas State (48-16) and Maryland-Eastern Shore (62-22) round out the top five.
Central Missouri (46-18) stands sixth in the new NTCA media rankings followed by Vanderbilt (48-23), Nebraska (37-13), Sam Houston (53-26) and Stephen F. Austin (46-36).
Completing the top 20 teams in the new polls are New Jersey City (35-22), Norfolk State (56-20), Kutztown (35-24), Wisconsin-Whitewater (28-25), Adelphi (42-29), Monmouth (38-37), Saint Francis (Penn) (41-31), Saint Peter's College (49-25) and Alabama A&M (28-16).
Voters in the poll come from media and sports information personnel who cover NTCA member teams.
