Meanwhile, UTSA ranks second in the conference with a .284 batting average, 255 hits and 146 runs. The Roadrunners (11-14, 3-6 SLC) are coming off Tuesday's 18-13 loss to Texas-Pan American. The Bearkats then defeated Dallas Baptist and Texas Southern in midweek games Tuesday and Wednesday. Friday's game will see Cody Dickson (3-2, 1.34 ERA) matched on the mound with UTSA's Casey Selsor (3-3, 4.54 ERA). Caleb Smith will start Saturday's game for Sam Houston with the Bearkats' pitcher for Sunday still to be announced.
