The meet is one of the largest in the nation all year, drawing top athletes from across the country.
Charles White lead the team with his fourth place performance in section B of the triple jump. White jumped 49-2.25, about half a foot short of a season best.
Karique Stephen also placed tenth in the triple jump. His 47-3.5 jump was a season best.
Jarrick Wright ran a season best 10.6 seconds in the 100 meter dash for a twenty-first place finish.
Wright also teamed up with Henry Jordan, DJ Hayes, Matt Buegeler to take twelfth in the 4x100 meter relay. Jordan also took seventh place in the long jump with a jump of 22-9.
In the 400 meter hurdles Matthew Viverette took thirteenth place, tying his season best time of 52.43. Darryl Hayes also put in a season best time in the event with a 52.67.
Viverette also took seventeenth in the 110 meter hurdles and Hayes teamed up with Trey Jones, Brian Helaire and Matt Buegeler for twelfth place in the 4x400 meter relay.
Alyssa Dooley led the Kats with a fifth place finish in section B of the 1,500 meter run. Her time of 4:36.08 was only about half a second away from her outdoor personal record, the third best time ever by an SHSU female.
Jenny Zoch also continued her strong performances in the shot put. She tossed 47-3 for a seventh place finish in section B.
Morgan Davis competed in the heptathlon earned 4,889 points, her second highest point total ever in the event. Her performances earned her seventeenth place overall.
Sabrina Star put in her fastest time of the year in the 100 meter hurdles at 14.10. Pashe Moore also competed in the event with a time of 14.84.
Starr also competed with Sunday Foster, Kaylyne Wright and Kristian Austin in the 4x100 meter relay.
SHSU distance medley relay also competed for a time of 12:10.37 and fourteenth place. The team consisted of Dooley, Tonicia Wimberly, Monique McMichael and Amanda Dunlap.
The next action for the Kats will be this upcoming weekend in Huntsville at the Sam Houston Multis.
