Baseball & Softball Rained Out

Sam Houston State and Southeastern Louisiana have adjusted their weekend softball schedule due to the threat of rain Friday night.
The two teams will meet in a 12 noon doubleheader Saturday. Orginally, the two teams were going to meet in one single game Friday and a single game on Saturday.
Sam Houston, winners in 19 of their last 23 games, come into the series tied for third place in the Southland Conference with an 8-4 league record. The Bearkats own a 20-17 overall mark.
Southeastern Louisiana is 10-29 for the season and 2-10 in conference play.
The baseball game at Lake Charles, La, between SHSU and McNeese State also was postponed due to rain. The two teams will meet in a 1 p.m. doubleheader Saturday.
