Tricia Mallory Receives Regional Honor

Tricia Mallory was named to the National Soccer Coaches Association of America Scholar All-Region Team.
Mallory, a junior midfielder, was a member of the Academic All-Southland Conference women's soccer team for the second year in a row. The accounting major from Spring has compiled a 3.93 overall grade point average during her three years as a Bearkat.
Mallory ranks as Sam Houston State's second all-time scoring leader and was an All-Southland Conference honorable mention selection as a junior. She scored three goals and assisted on two others during the 2012 season.
She was also named as All-Southland Honorable Mention in 2012.
Mallory is joined by Kylie Louw of Stephen F. Austin as the only members of the Southland to make the NSCAA Scholar All-Region team.
