Two weeks into the race for the 2013 Southland Conference volleyball championship, Sam Houston finds itself locked in a three-way tie for first place with Oral Roberts and Central Arkansas.

Lamar will try to answer with an offense led by Sierra Whittaker. She ranks No. 4 in the Southland with a 3.5 kill average per set and a total of 147.
