Brooke White signs early with SHSU

Brooke White, a 5-8 outside hitter and defensive specialist from All Saints Episcopal School and Dallas Skyline volleyball club, has signed a letter-of-intent to attend Sam Houston State University and play volleyball for head coach Brenda Gray.
A four-year varsity player, White has totaled 1,384 kills (3.9 per set) and 1,256 digs (3.5 per set). She produced 491 kills as a senior in 2013 and 482 as a junior.
All Saints rolled to a 31-6 overall record this fall, finishing first in the Southwest Preparatory Conference.
Her Dallas Skyline team qualified for junior nationals in the open division 14s, 15s and 16s and for junior nationals in national division in the 17s and 18s.
White has earned All-Southwest Preparatory Conference honors and is a three-time team “Most Valuable Player” award winner.
“Brooke is one of those players you love to have on your team,” Gray said. “She is a smart, fearless attached who has a nose for the ball defensively. She has trained with one of the best club programs in the nation for several years. Her ball control, knowledge of the game and strong skill set will make her an asset to this program immediately.”
