Sam Houston State will play host to Southern Utah in the opening round of the NCAA Division I Football Championships. Kickoff is set for 2 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 30 at Elliott T. Bowers Stadium.
Ticket prices are: $15 – General Admission, $20 – Bleacher Reserved and $25 – Reserved Chairback. All tickets are charged a $2 per ticket fee.
STUDENT TICKETS
The Sam Houston department of athletics again has subsidized student ticket prices so that all university students can purchase an NCAA playoff ticket for only $5. There are no free admissions for NCAA post-season events.
Student tickets will be on sale this week from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the SHSU athletics tent outside the Lowman Student Center on Monday and Tuesday.
Students also may purchase tickets at the Bowers Stadium West Box Office between 12 noon and 6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday.
The SHSU athletic ticket office at the Ron Mafrige Fieldhouse at Bowers will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Wednesday and 12 noon to 5 p.m. Friday. Game day student tickets may be purchased at the West Box Office of Bowers Stadium beginning at 10 a.m. Each student must have valid student ID to purchase tickets.
Students living in the dorms and wishing to attend the playoff game need to contact the Residence Life Office by 5:00pm on Tuesday to be added to the Break List and to be allowed to stay in the residence halls for free.
SEASON TICKET HOLDERS
Season ticket holders have until Wednesday, Nov 27th at 10 a.m. to renew their season location by purchasing the FCS Playoff Series Package. Following that deadline, the seat locations will be released to the general public.
Season ticket holders can login to their ticketing account on www.gobearkats.com beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday (Nov. 24) to purchase the FCS Playoff Series Package that will secure their seating location for all rounds of the FCS Playoffs hosted by SHSU. Their card will be charged automatically for each round of the playoffs hosted by SHSU.
Season ticket holders can call the athletic ticket office or stop by the Ron Mafrige Fieldhouse beginning Monday, November 25th at 8 a.m.
All season chairback ticket holders who purchase the FCS Playoff Series Package will receive a parking permit for the same lot they had in the regular season.
GENERAL PUBLIC
General admission and available bleacher reserved seats will be available for purchase on gobearkats.com beginning at 1 p.m. Sunday, November 24th.
Patrons may begin calling and stopping by the Ron Mafrige Fieldhouse Athletic Ticket Office at 8 a.m. on Monday, November 25th.
WILL CALL
Will-call will be available at the West Box Office of Bowers Stadium from 12 noon to -6 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and in the Ron Mafrige Fieldhouse Wednesday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Friday 12 noon to 5 p.m.
Will-call & parking lots will open on game day outside the West Box Office of Bowers Stadium at 10 a.m.
