The drama continues as the Southland Conference race sees several big games this weekend with just three more Saturdays to go before the regular season ends.

The No. 16 Lions, who are 7-2 overall and 4-0 in league play, moved into sole possession of first place after beating McNeese State 41-7 last Saturday in Lake Charles.

The Bears are particularly tough at home with only one loss in their last 16 games at Estes Stadium. Southeastern then returns to Hammond where it will play its final two games of the season, against No. 6 Sam Houston State Nov. 16 and against Nicholls on Thursday, Nov. 21.
