James Thomas Receives All-Tournament Honor

Sam Houston senior forward James Thomas was named as one of the members of the All-Tournament Team for the Corpus Christi Challenge this weekend.
The members of the select group of outstanding players from the tournament were:
Justin Anderson - Virginia
Anthony Gill - Virginia
James Thomas - Sam Houston State
Nic Moore - SMU
Jordan Green - Texas A&M
Antwon Burrus - Liberty
Du'Vaughn Maxwell - Hampton
Ghiavonni Robinson - Arkansas Pine Bluff
Jamar Gulley - Missouri State
Emmanuel Addo - Missouri State
Joe Harris - Virginia - MVP
Thomas scored in double figures in both Sam Houston's 75-49 victory over Arkansas-Pine Bluff and a 62-58 narrow loss to Liberty.
He scored 11 points and pulled down four rebounds in Friday's win over UAPB and totaled 10 points and had eight boards in Saturday's game.
Next action for the Bearkats will be games in the SFA Classic in Nacogdoches this Friday and Saturday.
