The countdown of the top plays of 2013 continues with No. 11.
With the Sam Houston State men's basketball team in a dog at the Southland Conference tournament in Katy, Terrance Motley hit a pair of huge baskets down the stretch.
With 1:44 to play in the game, Motley drove to the basket for a reverse layup to extend the Kats' lead to four. Then with just under a minute to go, he hit a step-back jumper from 17 feet to build the lead to six.
The Kats then held on for a 58-55 win to advance to the semifinals.
