The countdown of the top plays of 2013 continues with No. 5.
In just his ninth game as a Bearkat, Jabari Peters made his mark. In a close game with defending Colonial Athletic Association champions James Madison, Peters hit the shot of the year for the Kats.
With the team trailing by two, he took a pass from Paul Baxter and buried a 3-pointer with just 11 seconds left to give the Bearkats a 77-76 win.
The Brooklyn, New York native leads the Bearkats in scoring, averaging 13.3 points per game, helping the Kats to an 8-4 non-conference record heading into Southland play on Jan. 2.
