Halftime Knockout Contest Saturday

Sam Houston State students will have the opportunity to win great prizes in The Villas on Sycamore "Halftime Knockout Contest" Saturday afternoon, March 2, when the Sam Houston Bearkats play host to Southeastern Louisiana.
All full-time Bearkat students (except student-athletes) are eligible to participate.
Students may sign up at the Villas on Sycamore leasing office prior to March 2 or show up on game night at register at the Villas on Sycamore table located near the Bernard G. Johnson Coliseum entrance.
Prior to half time, ten individuals will be selected and will earn the opportunity to compete in the half time contest.
After eight contestants have been eliminated in the Villas on Sycamore Knockout round, the final two contestants will have a three-point shootout to determine the champion.
Prizes include a $100 gift card, a $50 gift card and other promotional items from The Villas on Sycamore.
The halftime contest is a feature event at the final home basketball doubleheader of the 2013 season. Both the women's game at 1:30 p.m. and the men's contest at 3:45 p.m. have post-season playoff implications for the two teams.
Contest entrants must be enrolled at Sam Houston State University and cannot be a student-athlete.
Sam Houston State students may enter Bearkat home men's basketball regular season games at Johnson Coliseum on presentation of their BearkatOne card.
