Men look to stop SFA on ESPN3 Thursday

The Bearkats are 15-14 overall and 8-8 in league play, tied with Southeastern Louisiana for fourth in the standings.
The Lumberjacks, at 24-3 overall and 14-2 in league play, lock up at least a share of the championship and the No. 1 seed in the tournament with a win against Sam Houston.
The Lumberjacks claimed a 50-44 win over the Bearkats Feb. 20 in this season's earlier meeting.
Lyn Rollins and Jim Haller will have the call from Nacogdoches. The Southland Conference and ESPN3 announced in October that the league's primary basketball television package will be seen exclusively on the broadband network beginning with the 2012-13 season.
The Bearkats defeated Southeastern Louisiana 54-45 in their last outing. James Thomas, who has produced five double figure performances in a row, again paced the squad with a 15-point performance.
Sam Houston is 14-2 in games in which the Bearkats have limited opponents to 63 points or less.
Thomas is averaging 10.8 points per game in Southland Conference play to become the first Bearkat this season to produce a double figure scoring average.
Senior Darius Gatson leads the squad in assists (3.4).
Coach Jason Hooten's bunch is second in the Southland in scoring defense (60.9), which is five points better than the third place team, but nearly 10 points behind league and national leader Stephen F. Austin, the opponent Thursday night.
Thursday's game will be broadcast live by KSAM 101.7 FM in the Huntsville area.
