Shoot for a Chance to Win Free Rent at The Grove

One sharp-shooting Sam Houston State student will walk away with a half year's free rent at The Grove in the 2014 Great Bearkat Shootout.
The competition begins Thursday, Feb. 13. The finals will take place Saturday, Feb. 15 during the Sam Houston vs. Stephen F. Austin Southland Conference basketball doubleheader.
Registration and the preliminary round of competition on Feb. 13 will be held at the LSC mall area from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Any student with an active BearkatOne Card may shoot free throws at the basketball hoop until they miss. Each student's score will be recorded onsite. The finalists will be contacted by SHSU staff before the end of the day, Thursday.
The first 250 participating students that make a free throw will receive a t-shirt compliments of The Grove. Students will be encouraged to wear their shirt to the game on Saturday to be entered in a drawing for other sub-prizes. Additional prizes, provided by Whataburger, will be distributed to all participating students
The five finalists will compete for the grand prize during halftime of Saturday's men's basketball game against SFA.

To qualify for the grand prize, the winner will have to complete an application for a one year residency, will need to have cosigner complete application addendum and qualify based on The Grove at Huntsville's credit specifications, and must comply with all terms and conditions in the lease including responsibility for any utility overages, damage charges, pet fee and any other fines as specified.
Grand prize is good for one bedroom within a three-bedroom apartment.
