Tayler Gray hit a solo home run and right fielder Cecilia Castillo added a RBI single to account for Sam Houston's two runs as No. 21 Texas A&M run-ruled the Bearkats 11-2 in a non-conference softball game Wednesday in College Station.
The Aggies totaled 11 hits including a grand slam home run designated player Cali Lanpheur and a two-run homer by right fielder Cassie Tysarczyk.
Texas A&M ups its season record to 29-14 while Sam Houston stands 22-19.
Catcher Tiffany Castillo and center fielder Jessica Slater each added a hit to Sam Houston's totals.
Haley Baros and Meme Quinn pitched for the Bearkats.
Sam Houston returns to Southland Conference this weekend, playing host to Abilene Christian at the Softball Complex. The series begins Friday with a 4 p.m. doubleheader. The two teams complete the series Sunday at 12 noon.
