Keshawn Hill on national preseason watch list

Sam Houston State running back Keshawn Hill has earned a spot on the 2014 CFPA FCS All-Purpose Performer of the Year Watch List, the final preseason watch list to be announced by College Football Performance Awards.
Hill ranked sixth in the Southland Conference in kickoff returns with a 22.3 yards per game average and was the Bearkats' third-leading rusher with 530 yards in 2013. He is a member of two Sam Houston 1,000-yards clubs with 1,396 yards career rushing and 2,312 all-purpose yards.
The senior running back from Klein is one of several Kat football players to earn national preseason attention this summer.
Offensive tackle Donald Jackson III has been named to a three preseason FCS All-America teams.
The 6-2, 274-pound junior from Kilgore is a third team selection on the College Sports Madness.Com, Sports Network and BeyondSports.com preseason teams.
Punter Lachlan Edwards, senior tight end Shane Young and kicker Luc Swimberghe all earned spots on the 2014 College Football Performance Awards FCS award watch lists for their respective positions.
