Briana McCall wins 800 meters in Albuquerque

Briana McCall won the 800 meters to highlight action for the Sam Houston State women's track and field team Saturday at the University of New Mexico Indoor meet in Albuquerque.
McCall produced a season best time of 2:15.81 in the event.
Danielle Demas also post her best mark of the young 2015 season with a 8.40 clocking in the 60 meter hurdles. She finished fifth in the event.
Nicole Jenrette tied her 2015 season top mark with a high jump of 5' 6.5” to finish sixth.
Kara Whitson was ninth in the women's pole vault with a height of 12' 2.5”.
“Coming out to Albuquerque was a great opportunity for several of our athletes to get a good mark in an outstanding facility at attitude,” SHSU head coach Dave Self said.
