Top International Bowler Signs With Kats

Lynne Fishler, a top international student-athlete from Ramat Gan, Israel, has signed a letter of intent to attend Sam Houston and bowl for the Bearkats' nationally-ranked women's team.
Fishler is the fifth international player and the fifth youth national team member to join the Bearkat program during its six year history. Lynne has represented her youth national team since she was 12 years old.
“Lynne is talented young lady who has competed at a high level internationally for her country,” Bearkat coach Brad Hagen said. “Her competitive experiences to date and her work ethic will play intricate roles in her future success.”
Fishler ranked among the top in her class at Blich High School. Her most recent bowling accomplishments include winning her nation's national event as this year's women's overall champion for Israel, a silver medal in women's doubles event at the MCC's in Chaine Greece and top honors at the European Youth Championships.
Other national team members who have joined the Bearkats include Dayna Galganski (Junior Team USA), Aida Sanchez (Dominican Republic Youth National & Adult team), Neishka Cardona (Puerto Rico Youth National & Adult team), Janine Kuwahara (Youth National Team-Philippines), and Carrie Hopkinson (Canada Youth National & Adult Team).
