2015 Brenda Gray Volleyball Camps

Bearkat Head Coach Brenda Gray will host two more sessions of her annual volleyball camp this summer.
Camp dates are June 25-28 (ages 13-14) and July 16-19 (ages 15 and up).
The camp will target the camper's volleyball position and enhance technique simultaneously.
Each camp will target the camper's volleyball position and enhance technique simultaneously. Detailed skill training will be done so that campers can advance their skills and their strategic understanding of that position.
Campers can advance volleyball fundamentals and learn new systems by targeting ball control and strategic understanding. Campers will improve their position specific skill levels and will play games in a tournament format that will help improve their overall play.

OVERNIGHT CAMP I (Ages 12 and under)

A $25 late fee will be assessed past the deadline
2015 Volleyball Camp Important Information
What to Bring: Set of twin sheets, blanket, pillow, T-shirts, shorts or spandex, volleyball shoes, socks, knee pads, towels, personal toiletries, swimsuit, spending money, medical examination form.
Medical / Physical Form: All campers MUST have a medical / physical form on file with us to participate. A completed copy of this year's high school or junior high physical form will be accepted (form cannot be more than one year old).
Facilities: All camps will be held at Johnson Coliseum and/or SHSU Rec Center. Overnight campers will be housed in an air-conditioned residence hall on the SHSU campus. The coaching staff will serve as residence hall monitors. All meals will be served in the SHSU dining hall.
Athletic Trainers: All camps will have a qualified trainer on duty. Excellent medical facilities are immediately available at the University Health Center
STAFF - Camp instructors will be under the direction of Brenda Gray, Head Volleyball Coach at Sam Houston State University for the past 30 years. Gray has amassed 633 career wins including five conference championships and two NCAA Division I national playoff appearances. She will be assisted by current and former SHSU players and additional qualified staff members.
