Kat Multi-eventers at Texas Relays

Bearkat multi-events specialists Jay Roberson, Tyler Adams and Nicole Jenrette all competed in the annual Texas Relays this week.
Roberson placed 12th and Adams was 14th in the men's decathlon. Jenrette finished 15th in the women's hepathlon.
Adams won the decathlon high jump with a mark of 7 feet, 1.5 inches. The jump was the second highest in school history, just a quarter of an inch short of Quinton McLeod's school record of 7' 1.75”. Just a freshman, Adams already owns the SHSU indoor high jump school best. Adams also placed fifth in the 110 meter hurdles and eighth in the 1500 meter run.
Roberson placed in the top 10 in three events with ninth places in the javelin and 1500 meter run and a 10th in the 110 meter hurdles.
Jenrette finished 15th overall in the hepathlon. Her top finish was a ninth place in the shot put.
