Fabienne Gettwart, Karen Martinez and Maddie Mortimore won their singles matches as Central Arkansas defeated Sam Houston 4-3 in a Southland Conference women's tennis match Sunday afternoon in Conway, Arkansas.

Gettwart defeated Kelsey Williams 6-2, 6-1 in the number two singles, Martinez won over Cassidy Crawford 5-7, 6-2, 6-2 at number five singles and Mortiimore won at number six singles over Bianca Strukelj 6-3, 6-1.

Central Arkansas won all three doubles sets to take the doubles point.
