Multi-Eventers Shine In Angelo State Meet

Five Sam Houston State multi-event specialists posted outstanding performances Thursday and Friday at the Angelo State David Noble Multi-Meet Festival in San Angelo.

Kagan Angers and Jonathan Andrews placed fifth and sixth, respectively, in the men's decathlon. Angers totaled 6,241 points while Andrews posted a score of 5,895.

Frances Porter, Courtney Lord and Sarah Walker finished eighth, 10th and 11^th, respectively in the women's heptathlon. Porter totaled 4,466 points while Lord and Walker posted scores of 4,242 and 4,240.
