The Southland Conference softball series finale between Sam Houston State and Houston Baptist scheduled for Sunday afternoon has been canceled due to rain
The contest will not be replayed.
Sam Houston won a doubleheader from the Huskies Saturday by scores of 5-2 and 8-1.
Next action for the Bearkat softball team will be a 5 p.m. single game versus Texas Southern Wednesday in Houston.
Sam Houston returns home to the Softball Complex Friday and Saturday (April 17-18) for a Southland home series with Abilene Christian.
