NCAA West Prelims Begin In Austin Thursday

NCAA WEST PRELIMS LIVE RESULTS
Action begins Thursday afternoon for the Sam Houston track and field team at the NCAA West Preliminary Round hosted by the University of Texas at Austin at Mike A. Myers Stadium.
Athletes who rank among the top 48 in their respective event earn berths in the NCAA West Preliminary Round. The best 24 relay teams also advance to the prelims.
The prize at stake is a berth in the NCAA National Championships in Eugene, Oregon, June 10-13.
To advance, athletes must finish among the top 12 in their event. The top 12 relay teams advance as well. To reach the quarterfinals, athletes must finish in the top 24 of the first round competition.
