Each week leading up to the 2015 Sam Houston State soccer season, we'll spotlight one of 10 seniors. As a unit, the class has helped vault the Kats into a consistent competitor in the Southland Conference. Last season, the Kats posted their highest win total in league play at 8-2 and took second. With nine starters and 15 letter winners returning in 2015, SHSU seeks its first conference title in program history.
Today's interview features senior Joanna Nigro. As a junior, the Houston native played in 10 games and logged 168 minutes as a midfielder after transferring from Navarro Junior College.
