Each week, we'll spotlight one of 10 Sam Houston soccer seniors. As a unit, the class has helped vault the Kats into a consistent competitor in the Southland Conference. Last season, the Kats posted their highest win total in league play at 8-2-1 and took second. With nine starters and 15 letter winners returning in 2015, SHSU seeks its first conference title in program history.
Today's interview features senior Lexi Riggs. The midfielder from Fort Worth comes to Sam Houston from Navarro College and most recently Arkansas State. At ASU, Riggs appeared in 18 games and made 17 starts. She took six shots, four of which landed on-goal and played the second most minutes on the team (1,398).
