Alex Bisacca | Gulf Coast League Yankees (Rookie Ball) | New York Yankees
With the trade deadline shifting the landscape of baseball from the highest to lowest levels, the Yankees' 35th-round selection had an eventful Friday, moving from the Gulf Coast League West to Single-A Advanced Tampa Yankees to the GCL East. In between, the right-hander tossed 3 2-3 innings with Tampa, allowing five hits and three earned runs while yielding a walk.
Logan Boyd | Lowell Spinners (Class-A Short Season) | Boston Red Sox
The Boston Red Sox' 2015 19th-round selection picked up his second win in his sixth appearance on Saturday. The lefty tied a season low, allowing two hits in a season-high four innings while striking out three and walking one. Boyd has tossed 13 innings, posting a 3.46 ERA.
Ryan Brinley | Hagerstown Suns (Class-A) | Washington Nationals
The Nationals' 2015 27th-round pick was promoted from the Class-A Short Season Auburn Doubledays to the Class-A Hagerstown Suns. In his Saturday debut, the righty tossed two innings, allowing two hits while striking out a pair. Brinley pushed his scoreless inning streak to 11 1-3 innings, dating to July 1.
Carter Burgess | Bowling Green Hot Rods (Class-A) | Tampa Bay Rays
The Rays' 2014 Round 28 selection was optioned to the seven-day disabled list. The third baseman is hitting .243 (18-for-74) in 22 games with Bowling Green this season.
Cody Dickson | Bradenton Marauders (Class-A Advanced) | Pittsburgh Pirates
The 2013 Round 4 selection by the Pirates last just 2 2-3 innings on Sunday, allowing seven hits and four earned runs at Tampa. Despite the struggle, the lefty remains at 9-5 on the season, posting a 5-0 record over his last nine starts to go alongside a 4.25 ERA.
Tyler Eppler | Bradenton Marauders (Class-A Advanced) | Pittsburgh Pirates
Taking the same mound as Bisacca on Friday, the sixth-round 2014 Pirates' selection allowed three hits and two runs in a pair of innings at the Tampa Yankees. In nine games, the righty has posted a 2-1 mark including a 4.15 ERA.
Dallas Gallant | High Desert Mavericks (Class-A Advanced) | Texas Rangers
The Twins' 23rd-round selection in 2013 was traded to the Texas Rangers organization on Sunday for cash or a player to be named later (to be determined). Gallant allowed four runs in 12 1-3 innings with Fort Myers while holding opponents to a .227 average. In his debut with the Mavericks, Gallant tossed two innings, allowing one hit while striking out three.
Andrew Godail | Williamsport Crosscutters (Class-A Short Season) | Philadelphia Phillies
The Philadelphia Phillies' 2015 26th-round selection notched his sixth scoreless appearance over seven outings with a two-inning performance, allowing one hit and one walk while striking out another on Friday. In 11 games, over 13 2-3 innings, the lefty has posted a 3.29 ERA, holding opponents to a .224 batting average.
Dustin Martin | Toros de Tijuana (Triple-A Mexican League) | MLB affiliate
The 26th-round pick by the Twins in 2006 has posted tremendous success since joining the Mexican League, going 14-for-39 at the plate over the last 10 games including a spectacular pair of games over the weekend. Martin hit a three-run home run in a 1-for-4 performance on Sunday and went 4-for-4 with a run on Saturday. Martin hit .310 in 18 games (22-for-71) for the Tigres de Quintana Roo and is off to a fast start with the Toros, hitting .375 (21-for-56) including 16 runs and 11 RBIs.
Ryan O'Hearn | Wilmington Blue Rocks (Class-A Advanced) | Kansas City Royals
After raking in a South Atlantic League-leading 19 home runs and 56 RBIs with the Lexington Legends, O'Hearn launched his first dinger since his promotion to Wilmington in a 1-for-3 outing on Friday. The 2014 eighth-round pick by the Royals registered a pair of RBIs between Friday and Saturday.
Nolan Riggs | Salem-Keizer Volcanoes (Class-A Short Season) | San Francisco Giants
The San Francisco Giants pick up from a season ago made two appearances last week, holding opponents hitless in three innings on Monday with four strikeouts and one walk. On Saturday, Riggs allowed seven hits and four runs while fanning four in 5 1-3 innings. The right-hander boasts a 2.72 ERA and 2-1 record in 36 1-3 innings.
Matt Shelton | Rancho Cucamonga Quakes (Class-A Advanced) | Los Angeles Dodgers
The Dodgers' 2011 24th-round pick was promoted to the Class-A Advanced Quakes on Thursday. Making his debut on Saturday, the righty allowed one hit and a run in an inning of work.
Caleb Smith | Trenton Thunder (Double-A) | New York Yankees
The 14th-round 2013 Yankees' selection tossed 5 2-3 innings, holding opponents to one earned run on six hits while fanning four and walking two on Wednesday. The lefty is 8-5 at Trenton behind a 3.78 ERA in 97 2-3 innings across 19 games.
Ryan Tepera | Buffalo Bisons (Triple-A) | Toronto Blue Jays
The reliable reliever was recalled to Triple-A Buffalo on Saturday as part of a flurry of roster moves for the Blue Jays, who were highly active at the trade deadline. Tepera has made 21 relief appearances with the Jays in 2015, touting a 2.28 ERA while holding opponents to a .183 average in 23 2-3 innings.
Corey Toups | Lexington Legends (Class-A) | Kansas City Royals
The Royals' 15th-round selection logged a trio of hits and as many RBIs over the weekend including a 2-for-4 performance on Sunday. The dual shortstop and second baseman is tied for 10th in the South Alantic League with a .295 average, tied for ninth in doubles (23) and is seventh in stolen bases (28).
Collin Yelich | Gulf Coast League Braves (Rookie Ball) | Atlanta Braves
The Braves' 29th-round selection logged three hits over four games during the past week and drove in a run on Sunday. In the process, the backstop raised his average to .265, his highest mark since hitting at .280 on July 10.
