Ema Barkovic, Mila Milanovic and Maddie Mortimore posted Sam Houston's points in a close 4-3 loss to Southeastern Louisiana Saturday in both team's Southland Conference opener at the McAdams Tennis Center.

Barkovic won in a pair of tie-breakers at number three. Milanovic went three sets for her victory at number five while Mortimore took the number six singles in straight sets.

Sam Houston plays host to New Orleans Sunday at 11 a.m.
